Our ewes are mainly Suffolk x Mule crosses. They are attentive, milky mothers and, when bred with Ryeland rams, their lambs develop a good sized carcase.

We keep the lambs on grass to about 5-7 months old and they go to the abattoir between August and November. We like to allow them to build a bit of extra fat on them, which adds to the tenderness and flavour.

We sell lamb as a fresh, butchered carcase, typically cut into whole legs and shoulders, chops, breast, neck & offal. Please see here for more detail on cutting options. The individual cuts will be bagged and labelled for you to freeze as you wish.
